After the shock of my pregnancy with Char subsided, Nate and I did the math:

For twenty-two years, without pause, we would be parenting teenagers. 

I have felt under-qualified to write every book that I wrote and will likely feel that way with every future book I write. Except. Except maybe that one I write on raising teenagers in the year 2038.
