When you quoted that Psalm at the end, I could feel something inside whisper: “yes, it’s true.” It was a little shift toward my Father. Thank you for writing these words for us.

Very familiar with failure! So glad you wrote this! Yes to toes in the sand. My 4 year old princess girl helps keep me in wonder! I’ve been considering how committed He is to my maturity while He woos my heart with declarations of “I delight in you! You are all fair!” I see His wisdom to mark me with these words even as I slip back into barking at my kids and my house looking like a half renovated frat party most days. I’m curious of God’s expectations of me versus mine. I am thankful for how He sees me. Although I don’t always agree 😂

His voice, today especially, felt so different than mine, about me

Hello. You mentioned a few times in this about not loving your husband well. I feel like that's where I've been at for many years as well and just wondering if you can share some resources on how I can change that for the better? Thank you.

what a humble question for you to ask! It's been a long road for us that his included a lot of prayer, counsel from older friends and mentors, many, many hours spent with a christian counselor, books on marriage from authors like Gary Thomas. In terms of resources, two of Gary's more recent books -- one of them being Cherish -- might be a great place to start.

Hi Sara, while reading , I was able to remember one of my 1st, recognizable failures at age 11, and having to repeat a major exam. I have since shared that experience and much more failures too as I have sought to intentional learn, knowing that failure is am part of growing.

My strength is in the Lord and have continued to run to Him, not always but more so now, knowing that He does care.

Recently I have been looking at 2Cor. 12: 8 -10 and onwards where Paul keep seeking God about a particular thing and finally he concluded ."..For when I am weak, then I am strong.

I am looking more at my failures and separating them from my weaknesses.

So much to say but thank you as always for sharing so candid. Blessings
