I read something that struck me from a woman who had been widowed in which she lamented the struggle of both grieving and rebuilding at the same time. I could relate. We want linear — we grieve a loss and then rebuild. However, life in God is not often linear. We see fits and spurts and circling the same footpath throughout Scripture.
