Every single month of the year I miss a significant opportunity: I am unable to attend something, I can't bring a meal to a hurting friend, I forget to help a child with an assignment, or I miss a big date on the calendar (anniversary, birthday, etc).

But for some reason, in December, wonder lasts until I mess up, and then the hole I fell in feels deepe…
